Blank Wall Gallery Exhibition

I submitted a photo to be shown in a black and white portrait themed gallery.  Out of 550 photos mine was one of the photos chosen to be displayed at the Blank Wall Gallery in Athens, Greece from 23 June  until 6 July.  This photo is of a camel herder in Morocco.  I took it candidly before we rode camels because I thought he had an interesting face.    http://www.blankwallgallery.com/exhibitions-portraits-bw/

On Location in the Cold

I had the opportunity to work with Beth Smith a couple months ago.  Our creative energies came together as she loved the vision I had in front of this old abandoned shack in the woods.  It was a very cold day and Beth was really was on her game.  A big shout out to Don for scouting the location and helping with my lighting set up.  I definitely will be working with her again.  Check […]

Revenge of the Bride: Zombie Photoshoot

I had the opportunity to work with Emma Darling this past weekend.  Our creative energies came together into this dark shoot that was awesome.  We used a location of an abandoned hotel.  Anyone that knows me would know that I am a horror junkie so this was right up my alley.  Emma was well versed in the dark arts as she has worked on horror films.  I most definitely will be working with her again.  […]

At the Wall: Berlin Photography

This was my 3rd time in Berlin and I wanted to really capture some of the best spots in Berlin.  Hopefully you will feel I did that.  The weather was horrible the entire week.  Raining everyday and even snowing.  Rain doesn’t stop my photography show.  In fact I use it to my advantage to get some nice reflections in my shots.  The train system is quite nice and you can get all over the city […]

The first couple of nights were pretty cloudy and here is a shot from one of those nights.    I didn’t get an early morning shot before snowboarding because we were hitting the slopes early […]

We Are Talking About Practice: 10,000 Hours

If you are like Allen Iverson you probably don’t want to talk about practice.  But he would not have been as good a player if not for playing in countless pick up games as a kid, in high school, in college or in the NBA.  All the hours spent playing basketball for him are practice.  Practice makes perfect.  My cousin @tonethegoat and I have always talked about perfecting your craft and how it takes 10,000 […]

Euro Cup Paris 2016

I made it to Paris for the Eurocup finals where France was playing against Portugal.  The city was buzzing as fans from both countries represented with their colors and favorite players jerseys.  This was not my 1st visit to Paris, more like my 10th, but I still visited the major sites including the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre and Notre Dame.  The game was electric and Christian Renaldo went out early and all looks bleak for […]
