Rocky Mountain Nightmares

I was lucky enough to attend the Rocky Mountain Nightmare Horror Expo and Film Festival in Denver. I have loved horror my entire life but never attended a Horror Convention. I though about wearing my Ghostface cosplay but that was too predictable so I wore my A-Train cosplay and through some blood on my suit and my face. I only went on one day but that was more than enough. I had so much time […]

The Floathouse River Kwai

Kanchanaburi is a town in west Thailand located about 3 hours from Bangkok.  A friend and I traveled down to the River Kwai for a weekend getaway and we decided to spend a few hours here.  We made the most of our time here but Kanchanaburi is definitely worth a visit.  The town is known for its Death Railway Bridge that was built during WWII.  The bridge crosses the River Kwai and was built by […]

Cosplay Alliance Black Cosplayers Matter Issue

First off I want to thank @cosplay.alliance for featuring me on the cover of the Black Heroes Matter issue. As soon as I was asked I knew the exact photo I wanted to recreate. I saw this concept art posted by @illustratedbygina (Gina Dedomenico) where @ljsupersuits (Laura Jean Shannon) designed how Supes from The Boys would look at a red carpet event. I really liked the A-Train image and wanted to recreate it. The great @dtjaaaam took the photo and @ryansimsphotography smashed the edit. […]

WonderCon 2023

My first WonderCon is in the books and it was a lovely experience. I was able to meet some cool creatives and some very talented artists. There were attendees from over 20 countries at this con at the Anaheim Convention Center.    I was able to complete a couple on site interviews for the cosplay alliance youtube channel. I met @caoimhe in person who was the first black cosplayer to have 1 million followers on TikTok. […]

Emerald City Comic Con 2023

This was my second time attending Emerald City Comic Con and it was another blast. I attended on behalf of Cosplay Alliance as an interviewer.  I didn’t realize my favorite artist was attending, Marcus the visual who is on IG @marcusthevisual. I was actually wearing his version of a genderbend Rogue cosplay from X-Men that he drew during his annual Swaptober series. He gladly obliged to be interviewed and of course I did the interview in […]

It was a great place to see all the cosplay heavy hitters and amazing builders with their giant builds.    On day zero this amazing photo was taken and I can’t lie I felt like a star. Photo by @CandidJohnKim                      […]

The Boys Cosplayers Take New York

It is fitting that I made it back to New York as A-Train as the first time I wore the cosplay was at New York Comic Con. It was there I met ready_season_one who was dressed as Homelander. So of course, I had to contact him to see if he was available to shoot. We gathered one more member of the Seven, samsyndulla, who was Starlight and decided to walk the streets of New York […]
