Star Trek was firmly represented at WonderCon! On Saturday, Paramount+ and CBS Studios hosted an advance screening of the premiere episode of the final season of “Star Trek: Discovery.” After the panel, fans were treated to a moderated Q&A with Michelle Paradise (EP/Co-Showrunner) and Olatunde Osunsanmi (EP/Director) where they discussed working on the exciting final season and teasing what’s to come in the upcoming episodes. They discussed the great memories they have of bringing Star Trek back to the television realm and all the shows that have spawned from Discovery. Discovery is on the of most diverse programs on television and this was discussed during the panel. Oh and Discovery fans should be pleased to know the spin-off Michelle Yeoh led show has finished production.
Fans were also surprised by Elias Toufexis (L’ak), one of the newest cast members of “Star Trek: Discovery” season 5, has he appeared in the audience at the screening.
The screening and Q&A was a great way to celebrate Star Trek with such loving fans of Discovery and of the entire franchise.
