I am treating myself to a new toy for Christmas. I just picked up a Nikon D750, my first full frame camera and it is awesome. 
I was torn between the D810 and the D750. Both have its positives but I ended up deciding on the D750. In my opinion it is the better overall camera and its cheaper. The D810 seemed to be better for studio work and landscape photography which both appeal to me. It has 36 megapixels and with that I could create some very large prints of landscapes. Maybe the next iteration of this camera will be in my future. One reason I decided not to go with it was because the file sizes are very large and it is slower than the D750. Since I am shooting weddings, races and I do street photography I think the better overall camera for me is the D750. The D750 is also the better camera in low light situations which I am eager to try out. And I will real soon!
