I was invited by friends of mine to watch their young son Gage rock out with his band. To say that I was impressed would be an understatement. The Rock school was awesome is set up for kids between the ages of 9 – 16. What was even more impressive was the fact that the bands are put together in just a week. Every rock school is just a week long. To think that the tutors can guide the students into forming bands of people they met of a week is insane. Not only do the kids play multiple instruments but they even write their own original songs. I was blown away by what I saw at the kids performances. Here are shots of some of the bands.
