2016 Just Died, 2017 is Alive!

As 2016 ends and 2017 begins I wanted to take some time to reflect on how much progression I made this past year.  2016 was the year I became serious about photography and decided to take my passion for taking pictures from hobbyist to professional.  I learned a lot this year.  I read a lot of books, learned the exposure triangle and started shooting in manual.  I practiced a lot and I can see my hard work and determination paying off.  I have met many photographers this past year that have inspired me and also see that my skills in photography are developing quickly.  I started off doing landscape photography and now added street photography, studio photography and wedding photography to my portfolio.  I also had to accept tough criticism at times from professionals. I started this website and just kept shooting.

As we come into the new year I want to say accept challenges, face your fears, find motivation, become inspired, dream and accept feedback to include criticism.  I say this year will be even greater as I look to make a name in photography.  Here’s to all of you that are striving to achieve your dreams!

Happy New Years from Shinobi!

Here are some of my favorite photos of this year!
